WCOOP - Event 5

Well i have not really corrected my hero syndrome but i have rejuvenated myself somewhat.

I have been entering sattelite and one of them was a $5 re buy in which i spent a grand total of $10 and ended up winning a $530 ticket to the WCOOP event 5 - the $2 million guarenteed NLHE tournament. It made for the richest online tournament in the world ever.

I played well and read well, even spending about an hour sat to the left of BelowAbove for a while. I eventually finished in 339th place after about 10 hours of play, (levels were 30 mins long) and cashed for $1500 which took my bankroll back up to $4600 and where i was before my disasterous run of last week. I enjoyed the tournament but it was at the wrong time of day for me.....through the middle of the night and ithas encouraged me to try sattelite a bit more. I also feel that it confirms i can play if i concentrate at it although i clearly still have a lot to learn.

Next year i will aim to have a bankroll to play more of these and hopefully cash more as well.

I must now play well this week and beyond. Be disciplined and stop trying prove things with hero plays.
