Poor Concentration

Oh dear i started today well with a win in the $5 STT on Pokerstars. So i decided to increase my winnings by playing the $10 STT's...after all i won there last night too.

Well it went disaterously and i failed to cash in 8 straight games. I even lost an $5 STT on Blue Square as well as an $8 MTT and a $3 MTT on Pokerstars. All my work of yesterday was washed away. But i was distracted all day.

Finally as things got desperate i switched off the tv and closed the internet browsers and concentrated fully on the poker.

I immediately won the next 2 $10 STT in a row. That's my losses recuperated...but what a waste of time because i didn't pay attention most of the day.

It really is a question of discipline. I must take this seriously...it's clearly the only way as my results yesterday and today show. Concentrate and i'm good enough to do this. Luca Pagano said he did this when he played. No distractions at all, proper breaks, no music and treated it like a job. He's right. Incidently, Luca just cashed at the WSOP for the first time the other day, good for him. By his own admission he's still learning but i like the guy and i hope he does well. One day i may be at the table with him. Who knows?
